Frank’s Designs has created several machines that can be cranked by hand and do not require electricity.

Manual Sheller

The two piece hand-cranked sheller (on the left) is easily portable and does not require electricity. Cranks are easy to turn and requires a steady effort, but not much strength.

A series of precision-made shelling baskets allow the user to select the proper size for the grade of nut in order to mechanize shelling, while minimizing the number of splits.

Throughput is approximately 100-150 kg/hr depending on level of effort.

Manual aspirator

Meant to work in conjunction with the sheller, the aspirator (right) removed hulls and other debris, leaving behind clean peanuts.
